Correction: Important Health Insurance Deadline

(Learfield News) Wednesday (Dec 18, 11:59pm) is the last day to sign up through state-run MNsure for 2025 health insurance — if you want coverage to begin January 1st.

CEO Libby Caulum says, “That will guarantee that you have coverage for the full 12 months of the year. You don’t want to take any risks in January with not being covered.”

The deadlines do not apply to Minnesotans who qualify for Medical Assistance (Minnesota’s version of Medicaid) or MinnesotaCare.

Go to MNsure.org to shop-and-compare various insurance plans. There’s also a statewide network of MNsure-approved brokers to answer questions and help people decide which health insurance plan is best for them.
