MN Wrestling Roundtable

Great to have the season started, and great to have recorded our first Round Table of the Season!  Next edition gets recorded Jan. 22nd!  Then right before State High School tournament in Feb., and after Big Ten finals in March.

We introduced a new Round Table participant, Brad Skogerboe!  He joined long time Round Tablers Larry the Sodbuster Baumgardt, Cathy Koob, Adam Bartels, and host Jim Bartels

Also a big thank you to our long time sponsors:  Northland Youth Wrestling Assn., Thorn Wrestling Camp, Minnesota USA Wrestling, and two new sponsors…..New Ulm Rolling Thunder Wrestling Club, and ‘Luther College Wrestling Camp/Train Like  Norse’ !

* Interviews with members of the U of M Gopher team after their win at SDSU a few days back:  Max McEnnely-184 lb, Coach Brandon Eggum, and Olympic Champion and Gopher Hwt. Gable Steveson.

* Interview with Minnesota Wrestling Legend Don Meyers…after he was inducted in the Mn. Chapter of the USA Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2022!  Don started the Fridley HS program, and later was a top level high school and wrestling official!

* Review of the latest Guillotine Team Rankings…for Girls, and Guys A, AA, and AAA

* Tid bits from our new Research and Development department  (‘C & K’, R & D dept)

* More of the Best Water Cooler talk on Minnesota Amateur Wrestling!
