LEGISLATIVE SESSION OPENS IN LESS THAN A MONTH

We are now less than a month from the start of the new Legislative Session.  Budget talks will dominate a lot of the conversation at the capitol.  Republican House Speaker-Designate Lisa Demuth believes cooperation will also be a key word during the next session.  Demuth says the expectation from Minnesotans will be for Democrats and Republicans to work together to balance the budget that doesn’t raise taxes, stop fraud and waste moving forward.  The new legislative session starts Tuesday, January 14 at the Capitol.
