Wild hang on to beat Chicago

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild scored a pair of third-period goals during a 4-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at the Xcel Energy Center last night. The game was tied at two entering the third, but Brock Faber knocked in a go-ahead goal in the third minute of the period. Marcus Foligno added an empty-netter near the end of regulation to seal the game before Jason Dickinson got Chicago within one with a goal in the final 30 seconds. Jared Spurgeon and Kirill Kaprizov also lit the lamp in the victory. The Wild snapped a four-game losing streak and remain in second place in the Central Division with 46 points and a 21-10-and-4 record. Minnesota is at Dallas on Friday.
