Celtics clip Wolves

(Minneapolis, MN) — Jayson Tatum had 33 points,nine assists and eight rebounds to help the Celitcs beat the Timberwolves 118-115 on Thursday night at Target Center. Julius Randle had 27 points for Minnesota along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Naz Reid had 20 points off the bench and Jaden McDaniels added 19 points and eight boards. The Timberwolves whittled the Celtics lead down to just three points with a chance to tie the game at the buzzer but Anthony Edwards saw his shot fall short. The Wolves have lost two in a row and five of their last eight as they fall to 17-16 overall. They’re in Detroit on Saturday night for a match up with the Pistons at 6 P-M.
