TRF Woman Cited Following 2 Crashes in Pennington County

A Thief River Falls woman was arrested after driving through a field and crashing into a ditch following a hit and run accident last week in Thief River Falls. 

Police say Dianne Matson was cited after the southbound 2004 Buick Rainier she was driving ran into a 2013 Ford which was parked on the side of Arnold Avenue South. Officers responded Friday at around 6:45pm. 

79 year old Diane Matson was arrested after deputies with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle in a ditch at 6:57pm. Authorities say the vehicle left Highway 59 Northeast “and traveled through the field and became stuck in the ditch”. ‘

Matson was cited for the collision on Arnold Avenue and arrested for Fourth Degree Driving While Impaired.
