(New Orleans, LA) — Minnesota star guard Anthony Edwards had another big night as the Timberwolves took down the New Orleans Pelicans 104-97 last night at the Smoothie King Center in Louisiana. Edwards went seven-for-11 from beyond the arc to lead Minnesota with 32 points. Julius Randle chipped in on offense with 16 points, while Rudy Gobert was strong on defense with 14 rebounds and six blocks. Zion Williamson scored 22 points in his return to the Pelicans line-up, while Dejounte Murray led New Orleans with 29. The Pelicans had their two-game winning streak snapped, dipping to 7-30 on the year. The Wolves have won their last two games to improve to 19-17. Minnesota visits Orlando tomorrow night at 6 P-M.
