Residence and Garage “A Complete Loss” Following Euclid Fire

No injuries reported following a fire over the weekend in Euclid.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, fire officials responded to a report of a residential structure fire on Saturday. 

Authorities responded to find a garage fully engulfed, and the fire had begun spreading to the attached house. Responding fire departments were able to fully extinguish the fire, which is believed to have originated with a wood stove located in the garage. 

The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire. The residence and garage are described as a complete loss.
