CHARGES FILED IN TRUMAN SHOOTING

Formal charges have been filed against a Truman man stemming from a domestic shooting in Truman last week.  According to the charges filed in Martin County Court, 32-year-old Kyle Liford has been charged with five felonies including second-degree attempted murder, second-degree assault, and three other weapons-related charges.  His bail has been set at $300,000 with conditions, or $600,000 without conditions.  Authorities say he shot a woman in the chest last Thursday.  He remains in the Martin County Jail.  His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
