Wild lose in OT
(St. Paul, MN) — The New York Rangers came through in the clutch during a 3-2 overtime win over the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center last night. Braden Schneider knocked in the game-winner in the second minute of the final frame. Vincent Trocheck and Jonny Brodzinski of Blaine also scored for the Rangers. who are tied with Columbus for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Marcus Johansson and Freddy Gaudreau each lit the lamp for the Wild, who earned an important point in the standings. Minnesota still has firm control of a Wild Card spot with 79 points. The Wild host the St. Louis Blues tomorrow night at 7 P-M in St. Paul.
