Information sought on 1982 Cold Case

It was around 11 p.m. on April 3, 1982, when Theodore “Ted” Dengerud left his New London home to pick up his wife from her sister’s house.
He didn’t know the area well and stopped to ask for directions. A short time later his vehicle crashed into a tree just west of Sunberg, MN.
It appears Dengerud’s head hit the windshield during the crash, but Dengerud was gone. He has not been seen nor heard from since, and may have suffered injuries including brain trauma as a result of the crash.  Anyone with information about Ted Dengerud is urged to contact the BCA tip line at 877-996-6222 or  bca.coldcase@state.mn.us.
