ST. PETER VOTERS APPROVE REFERENDUM
Voters in the St. Peter School District approved a bond referendum Tuesday. It will authorize the district to invest over $10-million in renovations and maintenance for its 65-year-old middle school building. Unofficial vote tallies were 911 for, 656 against. The approved funds will support a wide range of improvements including replacing the building’s failing HVAC systems and also provide students with modernized learning spaces to better support interactive project-based learning. The improvements are scheduled to start at the end of this school year and be completed over the next two summers.
