Carver Co Assault Victim Dies Before Person of Interest Found Dead

(Chanhassen, MN) — Carver County investigators are reporting that an assault victim and a possible suspect are both dead following an incident in Chanhassen.

The sheriff’s office says a 33-year-old man died after a violent assault in the garage of his parents’ home Friday afternoon.

Deputies say a person of interest was identified and later located dead inside a home in Minneapolis.

Authorities say it appears to be an isolated incident.

Names have been released.
