Gopher WBB gets a transfer
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Golden Gopher women’s basketball team is adding a talented transfer player from the University of Michigan. Sophomore-to-be forward Taylor Woodson of Minnetonka has decided to transfer from the Wolverines to Minnesota. She played in 32 games as a true freshman last year at Michigan, averaging 1.9-points per game. She is a former high school teammate of current Gopher point guard Amaya Battle at Hopkins and was a four-star recruit coming out of high school, ranked number-59 in the country by E-S-P-N. Her father Johnny played wide receiver for the Golden Gopher football team in the 1990s.
