The Stevens County Fair will kick things off for 2025 with its annual Fair Community Meal at 5  p.m. Tuesday at the Lee Community Center in Morris. The Fairgrounds received funding through the Compeer Financial’s County Fair Facility Upgrade Grant Program for repairs and maintenance to existing livestock buildings, 4-H buildings, and livestock judging areas. Expect upgraded facilities for 4-H animal exhibits and events. There are also changes made to the restrooms, including breastfeeding stations and sensory-friendly spaces. In addition, the Stevens County History Museum has put on a new coat of paint to the Old Schoolhouse, and added new shutters and windows. They have also added a new Barn Quilt.
