Loons eliminated from Leagues Cup

(St. Paul, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota United have been eliminated from the Leagues Cup tournament. The Loons lost their third group stage match 2-nil against San Luis from Allianz Field last night in St. Paul. Minnesota generated just three shots on target during the losing effort. The United return to M-L-S play with a match against the Colorado Rapids on Sunday.
