1970 GRAD DONATES 160 ACRES OF FARMLAND TO MSU-MANKATO

A nursing graduate who lives in California is donating 160 acres of family farmland to MSU-Mankato.  Sherry Arndt graduated in 1970 and her first-of-its-kind donation is going to the Maverick Real Estate Foundation.  The farmland near Comfrey is valued at more than $1.6-million.  MSU President Edward Inch said Arndt’s donation will directly support student success through hands-on learning, research opportunities and scholarships.
