Pursuit/Crash in Wright County

A driver was injured Sunday night after a pursuit in Wright County that began in Otsego and ended with a crash in St. Michael.

The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy responded to a traffic complaint of a motorist who was driving erratically and located the vehicle in Otsego and initiated a traffic stop but the driver fled.

The driver eventually drove southbound on Highway 101 and at an off ramp in St. Michael, the deputy’s vehicle contacted the suspect vehicle causing it to rollover.

The suspect, 44-year-old Corey Pratt of La Crescent, was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to Regions Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Authorities say there was evidence of possible alcohol consumption and impairment.
