HECTOR MAN SERIOUSLY HURT IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

A Hector man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash about 6 ½ miles north of Buffalo Lake Tuesday evening.  The Renville County Sheriff’s Office was called at 6:26 pm to the intersection of County Roads 11 and 8 and found a Yamaha Sport motorcycle had crashed.  The driver, 22-year-old Hidrael Ramirez, Jr. was taken to North Memorial Hospital by North Air Care.  A preliminary investigation says that Ramirez was overtaking a vehicle that was turning off of County Road 11 and crashed into the ditch.  Hector Police and fire, Buffalo Lake police, fire and ambulance and North Air Care assisted at the scene.  The crash remains under investigation.
