First Hearing for Senate Select Subcommittee on Federal Impacts on Minnesotans
(St. Paul, MN) — The Senate Select Subcommittee on Federal Impacts on Minnesotans and Economic Stability is hosting its first hearing today in St Paul. Members will hear from counties, experts, and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) recipients on how changes to that program will affect Minnesotans. The committee toured the Channel One Regional Food Bank in Rochester last week. It was formed to navigate the state legislature’s effort to react to changes made by Congress and the Trump administration.
