GIBBON MAN CHARGED WITH VEHICLE THEFT

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report of a stolen vehicle near a job site near Green Isle.  Authorities received a report around 9:30 Sunday morning of a suspicious pickup and trailer parked along County Road 62 about four miles west of Henderson.  Deputies arrived and spoke with the occupant of the vehicle 28-year-old Alexander Nipp of Gibbon.  It was determined that the pickup and trailer were stolen. The owner of the vehicle is Thomas Eckberg of Gaylord.   Nipp was arrested and is charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
