Vikings prepping for first round of Draft
(Detroit, MI) — The 2024 N-F-L draft is finally here. Round one kicks off tonight with Detroit as the host city. The Vikings front office will be at team headquarters in Eagan. Minnesota currently has two first-round picks after making a trade with Houston earlier in the offseason. Minnesota’s first pick is at 11 and the second pick comes in at 23, although recent draft rumors have connected the Vikings to a potential trade up to potentially a quarterback. The Purple have reportedly placed calls to the teams picking at three, four, and five, and they have interest in North Carolina’s Drake Maye and Michigan’s J-J McCarthy, among others. The draft begins at 7 P-M. The team is hosting a “Draft Party” for fans at U-S Bank Stadium tonight.
