One less Bowl game next year

(Undated/Minnesota News Network) — The college football bowl season will not involve the Motor City next season. The GameAbove Sports Bowl will not be played, ending a 29-year run of postseason college football in Detroit. A MAC team appeared in 25 of the 28 games played at either the Silverdome or Ford Field since the game’s inception.
