Rep. Van Binsbergen Running for Re-election

MONTEVIDEO – State Republican Rep. Scott Van Binsbergen has announced he is running for re-election this November in an effort, he said, to continue fighting for rural principles and pushing back against policies that harm communities in Greater Minnesota.

The Montevideo Republican represents House District 16A after gaining more than 71

percent of the vote in a landslide 2024 victory.

In his first term, Van Binsbergen said he has focused on bringing common sense and stability back to the legislature.
