LQPV/D-B Shadows are State Champions in Jazz Dancing

The 2026 Minnesota State High School League State Dance Tournament concluded Saturday at Target Center in Minneapolis.  In Friday’s Jazz competition, both the Yellow Medicine East Silhouettes and the Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd Shadows advanced to the field of six finalists, with LQPV/D-B claiming the championship!

In Saturday’s High Kick competition, once again YME and LQPV/D-B both advanced to the finals.  The Shadows nearly completed a sweep of the tournament, but finished second to St. Cloud Cathedral.
