Twins sign former All Star

(Minneapolis, MN/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Twins are bringing back Liam Hendriks. The Twins signed the former All-Star reliever to a minor league deal yesterday. The contract includes an invitation to Spring Training, which begins today. Hendriks began his career with Minnesota as a starter, playing with the team from 2011 until 2013. He was 0-2 with a 6.59 earned run average in 14 appearances with the Red Sox last year.
