Lynx cut two players

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Lynx trimmed their roster by a couple of players yesterday when they waived forwards Mimi Collins and Jaime Nared. Collins was a standout at North Carolina State. Nared was the 13th overall pick in the 2018 W-N-B-A Draft by Las Vegas. Minnesota has a preseason game on Wednesday morning in Washington, D-C. The Lynx beat Chicago in preseason action on Friday night at the Target Center 92-81. Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams each poured in 17 points during the victory.
