Mankato West wins a section game over New Ulm 72 to 60, Mankato East also wins a section game over St Peteer 85 to 57, Redwood Valley defeats Maple River 69 to 55, St Mary’s wins the crosstown match over Sleepy Eye 89 to 53, Martin County West defeats Cedar Mountain 60 to 50, Lester Prairie was a 70 to 58 winner over BLHS, Windom was a 78 to 48 winner over GHECML/Truman, Loyola defeats Lesueur/Henderson 86 to 73. Red Rock scores-SW Minnesota Christian defeats Red Rock Central 81 to 49, Heron Lake/Okabena/Fulda 60 to 43 and Murray County Central was an 85 to 48 winner over Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey.

Girl’s Basketball:

New Ulm wins a section game over Mankato West 75 to 74 as does St Peter over Mankato East 74 to 51, Cathedral defeats Madelia 55 to 44, MVL defeats GFW 75 to 41, Cedar Mountain wins big over Lester Prairie 86 to 38, LCWM wins a South Central matchup over St Clair 79 to 74, Windom was aa 99 to 74 winner over GHECML/Truman, Loyola picks up a 52 50 road win over Leroy/Ostrander and BOLD defeats West Central 74 to 52.

Boy’s Hockey:

Waseca wins the Big South Championship, defeating Luverne  6 to 2.

Men’s Hockey:

Gustavus shuts out St Scholastica 4 to 0.

Section 4A Wrestling:

Kimball eliminates Sibley East 39 to 26, Central does the same to Eden Valley/Watkins 48 to 24, Lesueur/Henderson was a 54 to 19 winner over Kimball, Central defeats Ogilvie 40 to 25 and the section champion is Lesueur/Henderson, the Giants defeats Central 63 to 9.
