SOME CONCERNS ABOUT NEW SECURITY MEASURES AT STATE CAPITOL
Visitors to the State Capitol will have to go through weapons screening for the first time this legislative session. Rob Doar of the Minnesota Gun Owners Law Center says he’s concerned about long wait times getting into the building, especially thinking of things like rallies that go on at the capitol all the time and the effect it might have on participation in government. State Patrol Colonel Christina Bogojevic says the process should happen verry quickly. There will be weapons screening at four entrances starting Tuesday.
