Here is the basketball scorecard from Monday night.

Section Girls Basketball:

2A-St Mary’s moves on with a big win over Madelia 111 to 33, the Knights will play GHECML/Truman, the Jaguars defeated Martin County West 56 to 47. Nicollet defeats Cleveland 63 to 46 and will play Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey. the Wolverines defeat Cathedral 63 to 36. BOLD was big over Loyola 69 to 29 and will play Springfield, the Tigers eliminate BLHS 73 to 58, Cedar Mountain defeats GFW 77 to 47, the Cougars will take on Sleepy Eye, the Indians defeat USC 71 to 49. Quarter-finals will be Thursday in Arlington and St Peter.

2AA-St Clair defeats Albert Lea  95 to 32, the Cyclones will play Glencoe/Silver Lake, the Panthers defeat Blooming Prairie 46 to 42. Maple River defeats Blue Earth 71 to 43 and will play Janesville/Waldorf-Pemberton, as the Bulldogs defeat Lesueur/Henderson 86 to 36. LCWM battles passed Sibley East 52 to 47, next up for the Knights, Tri City United, the Titans eliminate MVL 60 to 44. Belle Plaine was a 79 to 59 winner over Waterville/Elysian/Morristown, the Tigers will take on Central, the Raiders defeat Waseca 77 to 36. Quarter-finals will be at high seeds on Thursday.

Boy’s Basketball:

A couple of finals, Waterville/Elysian/Morristown 78 to 61 and Southwest Minnesota Christian was a 78 to 35 winner over Westbrook/Walnut Grove.
