Section Girl’s Basketball:

2AAA:

Marshall moves to the semi-finals with an 83 to 23 win over Worthington, the Tigers will play Mankato West as the Scarlets defeat St Peter 74 to 74. Jordan was a big winner over Mankato East 91 to 35 and the Jaguars will square off against New Ulm as the Eagles defeat Hutchinson 85 to 41. Semi-finals will be Saturday afternoon at Gustavus Adolphus College.

3AA:

New London/Spicer defeats Morris Area 65 to 51, Minnewaska was a 67 to 50 winner over Kerkhoven-Murdock/Sunberg, Fairmont defeats Luverne 52 to 42 and St james moves to the semi’s wwith a 72 to 56 win over Pipestone. Next round Thursday night.

3A:

Central Minnesota Christian defeats Minneota 52 to 49, MaCCray was a 69 to 30 winner over Lakeview, Hills/Beaver creek eliminate Westbrook/Walnut Grove 62 to 38 and Murray County Cenral upends Adrian/Ellsowrth 59 to 43. Semi0finals will be Friday night.

Boy’s Basketball;

St James was a 64 to 61 winner over Sibley east, the Big South champion is Belle Plaine, the Tigers defeat Jackson County Central 90 to 83, Springfield was a 102 to 38 winner over Cathedral, Wabasso wins the Tomahawk/Valley Championship defeating Nicollet 113 to 86, Maple River picks up a conference win over MVL 69 to 60, LCWM needed overtime to get past Madelia 78 to 67, Cedar Mountain defeats BLHS 69 to 57, Blue earth picks up a section win over Lesueur/Henderson 82 to 79, West Central gets a win over BOLD 80 to 33 and Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey defeats Red Rock Central 79 to 70.

MIAC Men’s basketball Tournament:

Augsburg upsets St Olaf 69 to 68 and Concordia defeats Carelton 74 to 52. Semi’s are Thursday night.

MIAC Women’s Basketball Tournament:
