SUSPECTS IN WALMART THEFTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY REPORTEDLY HIT NEW ULM

New Ulm Police were called to a theft report at Walmart Friday afternoon at 4:50 pm.  Police say a suspect fled in a vehicle on Highway 14 heading toward Sleepy Eye.  Walmart employees told police that a woman with the man is allegedly responsible for over $52,000 in stolen items from Walmart spanning across the country.  The man and woman were not located and surveillance video could not see the license plate.  The investigation is continuing.
