Here is the scorecard from Saturday.

Section 2AAA Girl’s Basketball:

Marshal advances to the final with an 81 to 28 win over Mankato West. The Tigers will play Jordan, the Jaguars hold off New Ulm and pick up an 82 to 74 win over the Eagles. Championship will be Thursday at Gustavus.

Section 3A Boy’s Basketball:

In Montevideo-Central Minnesota Christian defeats LQPV 104 to 24, Renville County West defeats MaCCray 76 to 58, Dawson/Boyd picks up a 75 to 50 winner over Yellow Medicine East and Wabasso moves to the next round with an 81 to 60- win over Minneota. In Worthington-Hills/Beaver Creek defeats Red Rock Central 68 to 29, Edgerton upends RTR 64 to 45, Southwest Minnesota Christian was a 93 to 48 winner over Tracy/Milroy/Balaton and Murray County Central defeats Westbrook/Walnut Grove 70 to 63. Next round is Tuesday night.

Men’s Basketball:

Gustavus is the MIAC Champion with a 75 to 66 come from behind win over St John’s. Gustavus receives and automatic bid into NCAA tourney. Also receiving an automatic bid is Bethany Lutheran, Brady Ingersoll’s Jumper at the buzzer lifted the Vikings to a 76 to 75 win over Mn-Morris.

Women’s Basketball:

Bethel is the MIAC champion with a 62 to 55 road win over Concordia. UW/Superior is the UMAC champion, with a 78 to 51 win over North Central. Both winners advance to the NCA Tournament later this week.
