Juvenile Injured/Alcohol Suspected in Sibley County Crash

A juvenile driver was injured in a single-vehicle crash in Sibley County Sunday north of Winthrop and authorities say alcohol is believed to be a factor.

The driver was taken to Hutchinson Health for treatment of minor injuries.

The Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle crashed in the ditch on Highway 15 near 244th Street in Bismarck Township.

When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered the vehicle had tipped on its side.

The investigation continues.
