CHANGES POSSIBLE TO MAJOR MANKATO EVENTS DUE TO CONSTRUCTION

Construction is causing some changes to major Mankato events this year.  The closure of the Veterans Memorial Bridge has caused Blues on Belgrade to be pushed back to September 19.  Fun Days is scheduled to happen as scheduled.  Construction on the Vetter Stone Amphitheater later this summer which means Ribfest will have to be moved to Civic Center Plaza meaning no headline acts and has been shrunk down from four days to two.  Ribfest spent its first 12 years at Civic Center Plaza, which is a much smaller venue.
