Wolves Begin Road Trip With Loss
The Minnesota Timberwolves fell 120–106 to the Los Angeles Lakers to start their road trip with a thud. It was a game that was tied 45-45 at the half but the Lakers pulled away with a big third quarter in particular to hand the T-Wolves their second straight loss. Wolves head coach Chris Finch on what contributed to the Lakers third quarter surge.
Luka Doncic had 31 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds for his seventh triple-double of the season and the 89th of his career. Anthony Edwards was just 2-of-15 from the field and finished with 14 points. Julius Randle also had 14 points in the loss. T-Wolves have fallen to fifth place in the Western Conference. They’ll head across town and face the Clippers tonight for a 9:30 P-M tip at Intuit Dome.
