CITY OF NEW ULM MOVES TO ACQUIRE FORMER NATIONAL GUARD PROPERTIES
The New Ulm City Council has approved moving forward with the acquisition of both the field maintenance shop and the former National Guard Armory. Last month, the council held a work session on whether to acquire the two properties. The council supported purchasing the former field maintenance shop but the former Armory building was a harder sell. The council proposed acquiring the field maintenance building and the former armory for a dollar and selling them for a dollar and it was approved.
