SLEEPY EYE PURCHASES HOME FOR POTENTIAL CHILDCARE

The Sleepy Eye Economic Development Authority is continuing to address the issue of childcare.  The EDA is continuing to explore building a house for the sole purpose of childcare like what recently opened in Mapleton.  However, EDA Director Kurk Kramer says they were made aware of a house for sale which the EDA has purchased…

Kramer said he hopes within a few months, that house can be up and running with childcare.  He also said Jeff Andrews who is a CEO with the business of childcare is going to come to an EDA meeting Tuesday in Sleepy Eye to continue to discuss the possibility of building a home for childcare.
