Ridgewater President Finalists

Minnesota State has announced four finalists in the search for the next president of Ridgewater College in Willmar and Hutchinson.

The candidates are Cheryl Norman, Lester Sandres Rápalo, Rushton Johnson and Luca Lewis.

According to a news release, the four were recommended by an advisory committee made up of students, faculty, staff and community leaders chaired by Joe Mulford, president of Pine Technical and Community College.

Campus visits for the candidates are scheduled for this week (March 23).

The visits will provide an opportunity for the staff, students, faculty and community members to meet the candidates and provide feedback.

The current President, Craig Johnson, is retiring May 19 after eight years as President.
