PD Investigating Shots Fired in Willmar

Willmar police are investigating a shooting incident that was reported early this morning (Tuesday).

According to a news release, at 4am, police were called to an address in the 300 Block of Litchfield Avenue Southeast on a report of shots fired.

On arrival, officers processed the scene and found shell casings and suspected bullet holes in the residence. No injuries were reported.

Police say it does not appear to be a random act of violence, and there is no danger to the public at this time.

The case remains ongoing and under investigation.
