REPORT OF GUNSHOTS IN COURTLAND

New Ulm Police are assisting the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office after a report of gunshots in Courtland early Saturday morning.  The Sheriff’s Office provided police with a description of the vehicle, which was located coming into New Ulm on Nicollet County Road 37.  Police stopped the truck, which was being driven by a 21-year-old Sleepy Eye man.  Police say impairment signs were noted and the man was arrested and cited for DWI and taken to the Brown County jail.  The Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office will investigate the alleged shots fired in Courtland.
