MNDOT RELEASES LIST OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS FOR 2026

Some construction projects have already started in Minnesota including the Veterans Memorial Bridge reconstruction.  The Minnesota Department of Transportation has released its list of projects for this year including finishing the Highway 22 Mankato to St. Peter project, starting a two-year project to reconstruct Highway 22 and Highway 109 in Wells, reconstruct Highway 75 from Main Street to Veterans Drive in Luverne and finishing up the multi-year Highway 93 grade-raise project from Henderson to Highway 169, which raised the highway approximately eight feet putting it one foot above the historic high-water events.   MnDOT wants to remind you to be prepared to encounter traffic changes when you approach work zones, don’t drive distracted, be patient and slow down.  MnDOT has just over 200 projects that will improve state roads, bridges and other transportation infrastructure plus 51 projects that will improve airports, water ports, railroad crossings and transit.  You can find out more at mndot.gov/construction.  You can also  check for real-time updates at 511mn.org or use the 511 app.
