Gopher MBB Bounced by Baylor
(Las Vegas, NV/Minnesota News Network) — The University of Minnesota men’s basketball season came to an end late Wednesday night when they fell 67-48 to Baylor in the College Basketball Crown Tournament. Cade Tyson led the Gophers with 19 points and Langston Reynolds added 13. Minnesota trailed early and often in a game that saw them shoot just 39 percent from the field and 13 percent from 3-point range. While Baylor will advance to the semifinals, the Gophers see their season come to a close with a 15-18 record.
