Short Handed Wolves lose in Orlando

(Orlando, FL/Minnesota News Network) — The Minnesota Timberwolves were playing without Anthony Edwards, Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, Ayo Dosunmo, Mike Conley and others in a 132-120 loss at Orlando last night. They did have Jaden McDaniels back from injury and he scored 18 points in his first game action since March 25th. Terrence Shannon, Junior came off the bench to score a career high 33 points in the setback. Magic star Pailo Banchero led the way with 20 points for the winners, who also got 11 points from Minneapolis native Jalen Suggs. Minnesota trailed by ten points at halftime and by 18 points after three quarters. The Wolves dipped to 47-33 on the season and have locked in the six-seed in the N-B-A Western Conference postgame race. The Magic are now 44-36 and currently hold the seventh position in the East. Minnesota visits Houston tomorrow night for an 8:30 P-M game.
