Wild blow lead in 3rd, fall to Dallas
(Dallas, TX/Minnesota News Network) — The Dallas Stars rallied from 3-1 and 4-3 deficits to beat the Wild 5-4 on Thursday night and all but sew up home ice advantage for their first-round playoff series. Kirill Kaprizov scored a pair of power play goals to help the Wild build up a 3-1 lead early in the second and then Ryan Hartman gave them a 4-3 lead with just 10 seconds left in the same period. But the Stars responded with goals by Mikko Rantanen and Jason Robertson in the third period to stop the Wild’s four game win streak and even the regular season series at two games apiece. Filip Gustavsson made just 15 saves on 20 shots while Jake Oettinger improved to 9-1-4 all time against Minnesota with a 27 save performance. The Stars lead the Wild by four points for second place in the Central Division with just three games left in the regular season. The Wild are in Nashville tomorrow at 4 P-M.
