Pennington County is accepting applications for the full-time position of County Assessor. This position is responsible for overseeing department operations and staff engaged in the valuation and classification of all taxable real estate and personal property within the County, and for assuring the equitable assessment of taxable properties. Applicants must have a two-year degree in Business Administration or a field related to real estate appraisal, minimum licensure of Accredited MN Assessor (must obtain Senior Accredited MN Assessor License within two years), 5+ years of experience in the valuation and appraising of all property types, and 1+ years supervisory experience. Pennington County offers a competitive wage and benefits package, including health and life insurance, retirement pension, 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick leave. This non-union position features a salary range of $78,104 to $102,814.
