Madelia scores runs late to defeat Cathedral 9 to 5 yesterday in Searles, Wabasso gets a section win over Canby 5 to 0, St Clair shuts out Nicollet 12 to 0, RRC/WWG gets a big win over Heron Lake/Okabena/Fulda 13 to 1 and BOLD defeats Yellow Medicine East 3 to 1.

Softball:

St Peter defeats New Ulm 11 to 1, Redwood valley shuts out Yellow Medicine East 4 to 0, Marshall shuts out Minneota 11 to 0, MVL gets a non=league win over GHECML/Truman 10 to 6, Lesueur/Henderson defeats St Charles 14 to 0, LCWM picks up a make up win over Mankato West 6 to 5, NRHEG wins a slugfest over Maple River 12 to 11, Jackson County Central comes to New Ulm and defeats Cathedral twice, 5 to 3 and 12 to 2, Sleepy Eye gets a section win over Mountain Lake Area/Comfrey 11 to1 in five innings, as does Wabasso over RTR 8 to 5, BLHS edges Madelia 5 to 4 and BOLD was a 3 to 1 winner over Lakeview.

Tennis:

Waconia comes to New Ulm and defeats New Ulm 4 to 3.
