2B CONTINUED A SUCCESS

2B Continued held their annual Dancing Like the Starts event Saturday evening in Glencoe and over $500,000 was raised for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.  Twelve couples from around the area participated in the event and watch parties were held in several locations including in Sleepy Eye and the New Ulm American Legion.  A full house turned out to watch Jeff and Sue Brandes of Courtland who were one of the dancers in the event.  They raised over $41,000 and received two nines and two tens from the judges .  The grand champions for the event was the dance team of Daryl and Marilee Peterson of Gibbon.  They raised over $81,000.  Total money raised was $560,936.
