DETOUR FOR HIGHWAY 22 PROJECT MANKATO TO ST. PETER TO RESUME WEDNESDAY

The detour for Highway 22 between Mankato and St. Peter is set to resume Wednesday as crews beging the second and final year of construction.  MnDOT says traffic will be detoured to Highways 14 and 169 durinng construction.  The new roundabout at Highway 22 and Hill Street/Le Sueur County Road 21 will remain open.  Access for residents and businesses will be maintained during construction.  This year’s work includes reconstructing the middle section of the highway and work on the Rabbit Road bridge north of Kasota.  Construction is expected to continue until this fall.
