Timberwolves Playoff Schedule Set

(Minneapolis, MN/Learfield News) — The Minnesota Timberwolves are now a day away from opening the N-B-A Playoffs with Game One of a best-of-seven series against the Denver Nuggets. The Wolves will tip it off at 2:30 P-M tomorrow in Colorado. Minnesota head coach Chris Finch says the team will need to “flip the switch” in order to win the first-round series. Finch says you “don’t want to be” a team that has to flip the switch, but he believes his team must. Minnesota finished the regular season at 49-33 and earned the sixth-seed in the Western Conference. Denver closed the year on a 12-game winning streak and gained the three-seed with a 54-28 record. Wolves forward Naz Reid says they’ve had an intense week of preparation, and they have “no choice” but to crank things up defensively. Here is the series schedule: Saturday: Minnesota at Denver, 2:30 P-M (Game One) Monday: Minnesota at Denver, 9:30 P-M (Game Two) Thursday (4/23): Denver at Minnesota, 8:30 P-M (Game Three) Saturday (4/25): Denver at Minnesota, 7:30 P-M (Game Four) Monday (4/27): Minnesota at Denver, TBD (Game Five, if necessary) Thursday (4/30): Denver at Minnesota, TBD (Game Six, if necessary) Saturday (5/2): Minnesota at Denver, TBD (Game Seven, if necessary)
